"Come Fly (230,606.9 mi) With Me"

It's 2023…which sounds pretty futuristic. So, it makes sense that we’re interacting with music beyond just the traditional ways that we've been accustomed to. Amazon went next level with this concept when they sent an Alexa device into space as part of Callisto, a technology demonstration payload built in collaboration with engineers from Lockheed Martin and Cisco and embedded into NASA’s Orion spacecraft for the Artemis I mission.

That's exciting on it's own, but even more exciting to us, was the fact that we got to be involved, as they preloaded this space-Alexa with our cover version of "Come Fly With Me" feat. Catey Shaw and played it in outer space during the mission!

Check out this clip from an Amazon/NASA demonstration video showing how some award winning STEM teachers interact with the Alexa on board the spaceship. Watch how they use the Deep Space Network (which is the same communication network that Neil Armstrong used to tell us about his “one small step…”), to send voice commands to Alexa, and hear what our song sounds like playing in outer space....230,606.9 miles from the Earth, to be exact!

You can stream the full version of our song here or wherever you stream your music, and you can check out the full video from Amazon & NASA here.
